Naruto Supercut

Hello all Naruto Fans or anyone curious about Naruto but couldn't get into it because of many problems with the anime,

I am currently creating an ambitious project to completely edit down Naruto/Naruto Shippuden (only the English dub) to a "Kai" like format, which is a format to structure each episode being a volume of the manga, usually being around an hour in length per episode.

 

But mainly my goal is to try and improve (by removing or chopping up sections) bad pacing, animation flaws, bad voice acting, not respecting the intelligence of the audience, and trying to add more cohesiveness. I am working through every fight to make them "punchier", quicker, and less "fill".

Also, I have so many edits in this thing throughout the entirety of the project that I will not be able to provide a proper cut list. Though I can make side-by-side comparison videos in the future.

This edit is directly off of, JeremiahTheBullFrog_ 's Naruto Kai edit which I believe is based on others, to help me with already unneeded filler that already existed throughout the show. He did the bulk of chopping down the show and I am very thankful for his contribution to the community.

If you have any questions I would gladly do my best to answer them. and I would love to hear feedback about what people think. I was also thinking and hoping to make 1 episode per week episodically. However, that possibly is subject to change.

Change List: This list will grow

 

• I am adding the intro/outro of each episode to correspond to where it is in the seasons of Naruto.

• Removing all filler unless it enhances the experience of the show. (Job mainly done by JeremiahTheBullFrog_)

• I am blending music and chopping dialog to be more condensed and at a faster pace to feel more realistic and help with tone. (audio blending is hard when scenes are all over the place but I will do my best!)

• I am lowering the volume of silly overblasting music that covers up too much of the dialogue.

• I am cutting out unimportant dialogue that does not intertwine with the Manga unless it enhances the story and works with the anime.

• I am trimming down Naruto's catch catchphrases for each person who has an unbearable amount of repetitive lines/onomatopoeia using "hmph" or other such features.

• I am speeding up many scenes in fights/trimming them down to help them flow better and have a consistent state of movement. I am also adding some visual effects to fights to make them feel slightly more punchy. Nothing extreme.
